What is Taste & Co.?
Taste & Co. is a premium catering company based in Trinidad and Tobago, specializing in bespoke culinary experiences for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and large-scale functions. We create restaurant-quality menus tailored to your event style, guest preferences, and service level.
What areas do you service?
We primarily service Trinidad and Tobago. Events outside of our standard service areas may incur additional transport and logistics fees.
Services
What services do you offer?
We offer full-service catering, drop-off catering, corporate catering, wedding catering, private chef experiences, event staffing (chefs, servers, bartenders), equipment rentals, and custom menu design.
Can you create a custom menu for my event?
Yes. Every menu can be customized based on your preferences, theme, and dietary requirements.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, and allergy-sensitive requests once communicated in advance. Please note that while we do our best, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Booking and Payments
How do I secure my event date?
A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit are required to secure your booking. Dates are not held without a deposit.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining 50% balance is due 5 to 7 business days prior to the event date.
Is the deposit refundable?
No. The 50% deposit is non-refundable as it secures your date, staffing, scheduling, and procurement planning.
When is the final guest count due?
Final guest count and confirmed menu selections are due 14 days prior to the event. After this deadline, reductions may not be accommodated.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers and other approved electronic payment methods. Payment instructions are provided upon confirmation.
Pricing and Tastings
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on guest count, menu selection, service style, staffing needs, rentals and equipment, location, and logistics. Each event is quoted individually.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes. Tastings are available by appointment and are typically offered to confirmed clients or serious inquiries once your event details are reviewed.
Event Day and Service
Do you provide staff for the event?
Yes. We provide chefs, servers, bartenders, and supervisors depending on the level of service required.
Do you handle setup and cleanup?
Yes. Our team manages setup, service execution, and breakdown. Venue-specific deep cleaning or special disposal requirements may incur additional fees.
How early do you arrive to set up?
Arrival time depends on your menu and service style. Final logistics are confirmed during your planning process.
Food Safety
What food safety standards do you follow?
We follow strict hygiene and food safety practices, including proper storage, temperature control, safe transportation, and professional handling to ensure quality and safety from kitchen to service.
Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made after procurement and staffing commitments have begun may be subject to additional charges as outlined in your agreement.
